The inspiration for my story ‘A Very Special Place‘ came from an article in Writing Magazine which gave 101 places to find ideas. The interesting part (at least I think it’s interesting) is that I wrote the article. It wasn’t until other people began telling me they would use the suggestions that I realised I hadn’t tried them all myself. If I remember correctly, this was number 19 – so I have plenty more to go!

Both ‘A Very Special Place‘ and ‘Getting Rid of Angie‘ are in the current (August) issue of Take a Break’s Fiction Feast. There are lovely stories by some of my writing buddies too. I do like sharing a magazine with friends in that way.
