In The Garden Air is my fourth collection of flower, plant and garden related stories. This one and Up The Garden Path, Through The Garden Gate and Over The Garden Fence each contain 24 stories.

As you may have guessed, I’m a very keen gardener. My grandparents all were too and encouraged me to sow seeds and tend plants from a young age. For that reason I’ve dedicated this book to their memory.

I know my grandparents were pleased I shared their passion for gardening. I’m sure they’d have been pleased too that I became a writer, especially Granny and Grandma who were regular readers of some of the magazines which now publish my stories.

Sadly they never got to see my work in print, but in a way they’re still with me when I’m nurturing the plants they loved – my happy memories of them linger in the garden air.
