Wednesday word of the week – Heritage

181207_2873Heritage is generally understood to mean historic buildings, monuments and attractive countryside, especially if they’re in need of preservation or conservation. (The excellent English Heritage charity is very aptly named.)

It can also mean anything which is inherited – from curly hair to diamond necklaces.
