Gary and I have spent the last two months travelling around Scotland. He spent a lot of that time working. I on the other hand …
I climbed a mountain – something I’ve always wanted to do, but have lacked opportunity coinciding with the required fitness until this last trip. I met up with friends, looked at lots of castles, learned I’d won a writing competition, had stories accepted for and published in magazines (there’s one in the current Take a Break Fiction Feast) put together a new short story collection of my own work, contributed to a multi author collection which will be available as a free download next month.
Other than that I’ve been pretty lazy and just walked, ate cakes, admired the scenery and views, took a few boat trips … But I’m back now – back home and back to work on new stories.
Gosh, your definition of ‘pretty lazy’ sounds fairly full on to me. Congratulations on the competition win and the anthology publication.
