I’m delighted to have a story in the current issue of My Weekly (5-11 September). It’s about two neighbours – a nice young man (Mark) and a nosey, grumpy older woman (Ethel) who eventually become friends.

Do you like the illustration? I do. I guessed it was chosen because submarines are mentioned in the story and Ethel is always on the look out. Today I heard, via the My weekly twitter account, that there’s more to it than that. It’s because Ethel sinks to new depths to discover the truth!
