I’m really pleased to have two stories in the current (November) issue of Woman’s Weekly Fiction Special.
Wednesday Afternoon started as an exercise in a workshop I attended earlier this year. It was run by the excellent Judy Waite and used modern art to help inspire our writing. It was great fun as well as well as very useful.
I’m not really sure what prompted me to write Facing The Music, but my grandad used to like to watch and listen to steam organs. I was less keen – probably because he wanted me to sit still even after I’d finished eating my ice cream!
Isn’t that illustration great?

That’s super, Patsy! Double congratulations! And both illustrations are so lovely.

Brilliant, Patsy. It`s wondrous flabbergasting what you create from the slightest hint – and constantly!
