I have a story in the May issue of Take a Break’s Fiction Feast. It should be in the shops soon.
Solent House, the location where most of Waiting For A Friend is set, is based on a real place in Lee-on-the-Solent (see there’s some kind of logic going on!). It’s recently been done up and sold as flats with ‘many original features’. Thing is, we saw the building work whenever we walked down to the beach and know everything other than the very attractive facade was demolished.
So, if those original features aren’t anything physical they have to be ghosts – don’t they?
Sounds like a great story, well done. Look forward to reading it.
