I have a short story in the current (October 2015) issue of Take a Break’s Fiction Feast. This one was inspired by something my mother-in-law did. I can’t tell you what though, or it’ll spoil the story.
She’s ‘appeared’ in quite a few of my stories. Wonder if she guesses that along with cups of tea I’m drinking in plot lines whenever we visit?
Ah, we love them don’t we? Great news I’ll look out for that.

In laws tend to create emotions – and that’s just what we need in our stories!

I read that story with my lunch yesterday. Excellent. So many mothers are like this, aren’t they. I thought you handled it beautifully – very light touch, because actually it’s a tragedy that mums can be like this with their kids! Well done.

Aaw, thanks, Della.
At least he found someone lovely who appreciated him in the end. Can’t think where I got my inspiration for her.
